Airborne Technology Centre  was the host of the latest Consortium meeting of project HIVOCOMP, that took place between 28 February - 1 March 2013 at the Westcord Hotel in Delft, Netherlands.

The PU material shows evidence that it can fulfill the demanding needs of the automotive industry for easily processable resins that enable high volume production. 

The hybrid self-reinforced thermoplastic materials (PP and PA) have identified promising scale-up strategies, while other innovative development routes are being investigated further. 

Work is also picking up on the selected demonstrator parts, where the first composite trials and preliminary designs are taking place.

The next Consortium meeting will take place in October 2013.
