Prof. Ignaas Verpoest from KU Leuven and coordinator of HIVOCOMP presented the project to the participants of the conference.

The 4th International Conference on "ADVANCED MATERIALS AND TECHNOLOGIES FOR TRANSPORT: Lightweight materials: sustainable solutions for the next vehicles generation" took place on 27-28 February 2014 in Torino, Italy, organised by ATA and Fiat-Chrysler.

The presentation focused on the two new material concepts for high-volume structural composite parts for road transport applications, and was followed by a presentation from Sabic Innovative Plastics and Tencate Advanced Composites.
